The ValueJet’s improved print speeds and exceptional image quality are made possible through a combination of Mutoh’s revolutionary new X-Rail design and new piezo print head technology. The ValueJet has 1440 total nozzles and variable dot technology to produce outdoor durable, photo quality images at resolutions of 540, 720 and 1440 dpi.
The ValueJet piles on the value creating brilliant images using Mutoh’s Eco-Ultra inks, available in 220ml & 440ml cartridges. Eco-Ultra inks are Mutoh’s 3rd generation of eco inks, which last up to three years outdoors, without lamination. The ValueJet provides additional productivity without compromising image quality by offering 10 print modes including the new 540x720 dpi mode that is perfect for banners. The ValueJet incorporates a new and exclusive Mutoh printing technique that reduces banding typically associated with bi-directional inkjet printing.
The 10 print modes allow for a wide range of printing possibilities on a variety of inexpensive, uncoated media.
Mutoh's NEW proprietary patent pending I² (= INTELLIGENT INTERWEAVING) printing technology, which means NO BANDING ON PRINTS.
Mutoh's patented Intelligent Interweaving Printing Technique allows for increased print speed that virtually eliminates banding with exceptional image quality.
The Patented Intelligent Interweaving Printing Technique is revolutionary in the piezo printing application world and is standard on our new ValueJet 48," 64" and 100" models. Intelligent Interweaving increases the accuracy and consistency of dot size and dot release during printing.
While this increase in accuracy and consistency improves the image, the dot-to-dot contact angle is changed giving increased dot gain control, allowing for more latitude in profile settings.

Spitfire 65/90
The new Spitfire printers will perfectly address the needs of typical sign makers, focusing on volume production of outdoor prints, who require mid-term outdoor use (up to 3 years) as well as high and medium printing speed on standard available outdoor uncoated substrates.
For top quality photo output on uncoated substrates (720 dpi, 4 passes per colour), print speed amounts to 6 m²/h. For commercial production prints on standard uncoated vinyls (720 dpi, 2 passes per colour), Spitfire offers real-time print speeds up to 13 m²/h. In high speed mode, the machines will deliver speeds of up to 20 m²/h. In draft mode, speeds of more than 35 m²/h are possible.
Targeted at speed-intensive sign production applications, the Spitfire 8 channel printers are set up in 2 x 4 colour configuration. Spitfire CMYK inks offer a high saturation, resulting in brilliant colours and a wide comfortable colour gamut. The inks moreover have excellent drying and drop fixation characteristics, allowing fast print speeds on a wide range of popular self-adhesive PVC. As a result of this high saturation characteristics, ink restrictions can be set high, resulting in low ink consumption, although keeping much brilliance throughout the entire colour pallet at all luminance levels.

Spitfire 100
For commercial production prints on uncoated banner (720 dpi, 2 passes per colour), the Spitfire 100 delivers real-time print speeds of 22 m²/h.
The Spitfire 100 is a 102" (260 cm) wide printer tuned for Mutoh's Spitfire mild solvent inks and comes with a heavy-duty unwinding/winding unit for media rolls up to 100 kg. The unit incorporates 8 drop-on-demand piezo heads and has 16 ink cassette slots.
Spitfire 100 has been built from scratch to incorporate a set of innovative features, such as a completely new ink supply path (ink supply tubings, head caps, pumps), a new X/Y rail extrusion, a newly developed electrical pump system with one pump per head and a new head base. A nice feature on the unit is the big illuminated viewing area with striplights, allowing the user to do visual inspection of the prints during printing
